Farmer's Market

On Saturday I woke Annie up really early & we headed down to the Minneapolis Farmer's Market.  We usually go to smaller ones closer to home but she LOVED the hustle & bustle of this one!  She picked out & paid for the flowers.
Then she wanted to carry them the rest of the day.
We bought blueberries, potatoes, and the biggest juciest peaches I have ever seen.  Of course, flavored honey sticks are a must.

And so is roasted corn!
She posed for the picture & took her first bite....then she started crying, "My tooth is shaking!!!  My tooth is shaking!!!"  It took me a good 5 minutes to calm her down, it's her first loose tooth.  She never did eat the rest of the corn, but she called everyone we know on the way home to tell them about her loose tooth :)

Bo loved the big peaches.
And this morning before church I heard Bo say, "I made it fancy."

Apparently peaches taste better with noses.

Oh my, I've never eaten a peach with a nose before . I must say, peaches seem to be delish all over the world. We've got great ones right now too!

I regret that I didn't make it to one farmer's market while in the States this summer. Always a fabulous place to go early morning.

Bo and Annie are just the cutest with their little Mr. Peach Head! Best wishes, Tammy

Oh my sweet Annie has a loose tooth. Bless her heart I bet she did panic. Can't say that I blame her. These pictures are of course just darling. Wish you would of got someone there to take a picture of you with Annie.
That Bo he sure knows how to enjoy his peaches. hahaha Shows he is as creative as his mom and Aunt putting a decorative touch to it.
Thanks for checking on me so early this morning. I always love it when you stop in.
My stomach is just a little upset but other than that I am okay. Traded my DP for Sprite this past week. lol
Been thinking about your Dad this weekend wondering how he is getting along
Let us know

Mr. Potato Head has *nothing* on Mr. Peach Head. ;-)

So, how much did my BFF get for her first tooth? Or did it not fall out yet?

Oh it looks like you had a beautiful and sunny day of outdoor shopping!
Ohhh and I know too well that horrible feeling of having a loose tooth. Our son wouldn't eat for days because his was 'wiggly'. Once he lost a few he kinda became used to it.
Love the Mr. Peach-head! lol

Deb

Hey Libbie ~ seems like forever since I have been on your blog, Where has the Summer Gone! I Am looking forward to the Cooler weather of Fall..... So Annie has her first loose tooth ~ My Gran Daughter Memphys lost 1 so far but has the top center right one that has been loose it seems Forever ~ she won't let you touch it, she says it hurts, She certainly does Not take after Her Mommy, who I think Lost about 4 teeth in 1 week way back when, she knew that as soon as they came out, she would get lots of $$$ from the Tooth Fairy..... Have a Great rest of the summer.... Hi to Kate, I Miss Her blogging, guess I need to get on yahoo & email her.... Take Care Dear Friend xox Cheryl

Fanciest peach ever!!! Good Job Bo! Good luck with the loose tooth, Max lost his first tooth on the last day of school but it was just dangling by the time it got knocked out! He gave up eating all the the things he liked too. I had to cut his corn off of the cob for the second one he lost, now he has huge gaps in the front of his mouth... too cute! Hope all is well, Theresa xoxo

Well, yeah they taste better with noses. That way you can really smell em!

Roasted corn is my first stop at the fair. It's worth a shaky tooth.
