Weak

I am one of those girls who pretends that she likes to keep November for Turkeys & December for Christmas.  But the truth is...I am weak...very weak.

Today Annie & I had the day to ourselves, No Boys allowed!  So after I took her out for lunch I said, "Let's quick run into Target to get some mittens for Bo...that's it though....nothing else."

And then it happened...I rounded the corner & ran smack into the stocking stuffer isle...

Oh, how I LOVE all the little goodies I can buy to treat my kiddos!  They are so little and so sweet!  And that is all it took.  Annie and I hit every single Christamas isle and a few Christmas items ened up in my little basket.

They call this a Joyful Lolly..Okay...now who could pass by a JOYFUL LOLLY!  You know you would have bought one too!
And then this happy snowman was a little too cute to leave on the shelf...I mean just look at that face!

Before I knew it I was out of control getting Fun Foam reindeer & penguins!  I mean who buys Fun Foam anyway?!!
And that is how Annie spent her afternoon.  Making reindeer & penguins & sucking on her Joyfully Lolly (which is not so joyfully when you drop them taking them out of the package btw).

So as much as I like to pretend we can wait & we have self-restaint...we have none.  I have a Joyful Lolly to prove it.

I went into Target the other day and got lost in all the wonder of Christmas! You are not the only one that is starting to do little Christmas things already!! Your adorable little one looks like she agrees with it too! :)

Oh, now I want a Joyful Lolly, too. She did great on her crafts! I love Christmas and all the "trimmings."

You have stocking stuffer isles at your Targets??? Wow, we need that over here too. I could crazy in a isle like that!!!

Since we don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here I am SO in the Christmas spirit already. I am thinking about putting up the tree tonight with the family actually!

Hope you are well.

Best wishes always,
Natasha.

Awww, I love the stocking stuffers! I always spend way too much time and usually money on them and then I have so many it's too much for one stocking, he he, then there are the ones I forgot to add...cause I shop too early and can't remember where I hid them!!!
It sounds like you girls had a grand time and that's the most important thing!!! Annie is such a doll! She is very intense on her crafting....love to see so enthralled with making things!!
Hugs,
Margaret B

I have no restraint either when it comes to this sort of thing. I almost lost it at Target the other day and had to put quite a few items back. They weren't for Christmas, but they were for my sweetie and buying things for her is my weakness!
The two of you are very good at your crafts! I'm glad you had a great mother-daughter day and I hope the rest of your weekend is great as well.

We have the dollar aisle at Target. Is that the same thing as stocking stuffer aisle? :) hee hee. I was there yesterday and bought stuff. It's literally impossible not to!

That last pic is award-worthy. Kyoot!

* Thanks for commenting on my blog, by the way. *

I am glad you and your sweet girl had fun! I just love having a girl and a boy. Sometimes us girls and the guys just spend a little time to ourselves. It is so nice!

Oh the depths of Target... evil place!! ha ha! I spent a lot of dough in Target yesterday ... on cleaning supplies, toothpaste, girly things we all use... you know... boring stuff... Sheesh!! I walked right past that stuffing stocker isle b/c my cart was already loaded with hundreds of dollars .... *sigh* love the lolly shot!

Oh dear one.
It is truly the best, when those babies of ours still love the magic of Christmas we can get for a few dollars...I would have loved to meet you at the end of that isle and we could giggle at each others finds...hugs to you both...rosie

Yep. I stopped in at Target last night ONLY to get a Starbucks for the ride home. I knew full well I would have to walk by the dollar bins. It was all over once I stepped inside.
