A New Place to Play

Thanks to my friend at Polka Dot Daze my kids have a new place to play!  After she put up this picture I was inspired to make one of my own!

I actually finished it about 2 weeks ago.  I really should have ironed it for you so please excuse all the wrinkles...
The first morning the whole family was in there.  The kids play in it eveyday (usually Dad does too).  They love to have picnics in there!
One of my favorite things about it is listening to their conversations.  They say the funniest things!

And in the spirit of Christmas:
Childhood...will never be the same.

  1. How cute is that? I love it. My mom could probably make one for my kids...but I sure couldn't. Great job. Cute pictures of your cuties...peeking out.

  3. Too cute!!!

This project reminds me of the show "The Middle" on ABC where the youngest boy of the family has to have his room under the dining room table. Too funny! :o)

  15. Very cute! Now, I know that if I did that, some of my kids would have pulled on the edges of it to shift things around and that vase on top of the table would be history... ;)

  18. I used to do this with my sister when I was young - but ours were simple blankets and quilts held together with clothespins and draped over the table.
How very special your children must feel to have this 'little house' all their own!
