All morning Bo has been carrying around this little wad of money.
He's been talking about it, counting it, & shoving it in his little pocket only to take it back out again a minute later.
"That sure is a lot of money you have there Bo. What are you gonig to do with it?"
"I don't know, coffee. I need coffee." (I wish you could hear his deep little voice :)
Coffee? Music to my ears! I have to admit. I am a Starbucks addict. You can read me 100 reports about the thousands of dollars you would save if you just skipped your Starbucks trip & I still want my mocha :) So I said, "Sounds good to me Bo...let's call Boppa & meet him for some coffee :)
So after we flattened out his little fist of money, he put it in his pocket & we headed to Starbucks.
Where Bo ordered & paid all by himself.
"Hot chocolate please."
The money is all gone!
(not really it was only a buck:)
Nothing like a "coffee" & a blueberry muffin.
When Bo is drinking we often have to remind him..."Bo, breathe!"
It was nice my dad could meet us too!
Thanks Bo! For the nice morning :)
I can already tell it is going to be a beautiful day :)
Hey, I do the same thing when I get a store card from Barnes & Noble!! In my mind I spend it a million different ways.......

ReplyDeleteOk Libbie, this one made me cry. It reminds me of meeting my dad with my boys when they were little. Time goes way too fast.

That is so cute. The photo of him holding his hands in the air after he paid, almost looked like he was relieved of some huge burden by getting rid of one of the dollars. The photos are priceless. Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice story!Love Bo and all his antics. Please give him a Hug for me.

So sweet!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Did he spring for yours and Boppa's too?
ReplyDeleteThis was just SO sweet! And the photo of him and Grandpa was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThen I scrolled down for a tour of Annie's room and overdosed in pink. It was lovely for this mom of four sons!!
Very sweet! It's a good thing you got him to spend it before it was mashed and ripped and torn from all the man handling. Ha! Most kids don't understand spending, so they usually want to know why they don't have any money left even though they know they bought something with it. So nice that he could spend quality time with grandpa and treat you all to some coffee and conversation. What a sweet little man he is! Many blessings, Tammy
ReplyDeleteOh, Bo is so sweet and your dad is especially good looking!!!

This picture story totally made my heart melt! So cute, thanks for posting ;)
ReplyDeleteLibbie,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love reading your comments to us. I feel like I know you from your messages and blog. Lucas my little one loves to go out for coffee with me too. My coffee of choice is Zarraffa's, I don't think you get it over there. I don't think my little one has worked out that sharing his money with Mum for coffee is the right thing to do. Both my boys like to put in their money box for a rainy day - can't complain. Love your work.

I was reading and laughing and so enjoying Bo and his funny boy stuff when I scrolled down and saw your daddy, and for just a moment in that first picture I saw mine...you are blessed that you have him. Enjoy every little moment. My daddy passed ten years ago and I really miss him.
