Last night we stopped over at my sister's, Auntie Cake's. I turn around & wouldn't you know...I look out the door & see Kate has my kids dressed up like this:
Apparently they were joining Kate's Little Fireman for a LEPRACHAUN HUNT.
Off they go!
They took it very seriously.
I wish you could have heard them! It was one of the cutest things I have seen in a long time.
Hope was rising when Bo said, "I caught tometing." But dreams were quickly dashed when the kids saw what he caught:
At one point I leaned over & asked her "What happens when they never catch the leprachan?"
She said, "Well, he's coming to my house tonight." & she sent me off with a bag of clovers, green marshmallows, & a crown so the leprachaun could visit us too.
So this morning...
The kids followed a trail of clovers to find treasure left by a leprachaun.
Annie was wondering if they left her a crown because maybe she really is the Queen of Clovers.
Later, Rocco waited at the door for her to get home for school.
She changed right away into her green clothes & enjoyed her green lunch.
Yeah....the Queen of Clovers is having a pretty fun green day :)
Happy St.Patrick's Day!
Hope you guys are having a wonderful St. Patty's Day.

You guys are too much! You realize I can never show my kids yours or Kates blogs because they will then know that I'm a slacker! That hunt was too adorable and Bo should be so proud of himself for catching something!!! So stinkin cute...Theresa
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, I can hear the giggles!!! You and Auntie Cake are so a blast!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love to see those big smiles!
Thanks for being a sweet friend and leaving me such kind words, I'll take the hug even if it is with tears......it's so nice to meet great people from my blog world!!!

Wish we were there!!!!! Looks like fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute, cute, cute! I did nothing. I wore green, the girls wore rainbow shirts but did nothing. I feel shame. You, my dear Libbie, have put me to shame. Maybe I can make up for it during Easter? I did buy Easter egg dye stuff yesterday. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteWell, I do declare her now, the Queen of the Clovers. Boy I wish I had a few leprachans running 'round here. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteYes, Annie is definitely the Queen of Clovers! It was fun last night, especially as they got to run outside with no snow on the ground! And Bo must have been very tired last night. He ran all the way down to the chicken coop, ran around while I was putting them away, and then back again. He made me tired just looking at him!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA This is so darn cute!!! Love it all. The kids must have had the BEST time! I love the green lunch!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comments on my blog :)
Gros bisous

What a great post! You are such a fun family! I've been telling my daughter about your sweet group and the fun things you do. She was inspired to plan a little St Patrick's Day fun at her house this year. Take a peek if you get a chance.
