Hot Chicks

When you have a sis like Kate your kids get pretty lucky!  After school yesterday we trecked out to her house to visit her new little chickies.

Annie squealed with delight.

For Bo, it was LOVE at first sight.
And Rocco...I wasn't sure how he would react.  I thought he would be scared....but as it turned out, it was the chicks who were scared...look closely:
Luckily Aunt Cake was just to the right to save the chicks.

Good job Rocco, be gentle, good boy...
NO, ROCCO NO!!!!
Man that baby is fast!

Let's leave those little guys alone now.

Oh, oh...RUN, CHICKIES, RUN!!!

  3. Man! That baby IS fast!

I am happy to report that all the chicks are still doing wonderfully despite the amusement style ride that the yellow one took with Rocco! Things have to be tough to survive at my house!

  6. This is such a cute post, my friend. Your children remind of mine when they were "little". My oldest is a girl (now 24 years), my middle son, Kylan (now 20 years), and last but not least is Caleb (now 15 years). Maleah is a lot like Annie (Big Sister)still. Kylan is quite like Bo . . . I called him my "wild child". And of course Caleb like Rocco . . . constantly exploring and following in the footsteps of big sister and brother.
Libby, God bless you for sharing these adorable pictures of your children. You are a terrific mom. May the Lord continue to bless you and your sweet family.

  16. Hey Libbie ~ What Adorable photos of Your Kids, and of course the Chicks.... What's With All the Chicks ~ I know Easter & Spring, but I think I saw at least 1/2 dozen bloggers with Baby Chicks, I Think I'm JEALOUS - but probably Not a Good Thing for Me to have with My Spoiled Kitty Kat ~ Elliott!

In that last pic, Rocco looks like Godzilla attacking the villagers!

All your kids are adorable, but I really think you need to just give me Annie. She is, after all, my namesake. :-)

Thank you so much for your comments on my last post, I really do value your feedback!

  19. Ahhhh...cute little ones...both the children and the chicks. My husband and I were at our local farm store over the weekend and we saw some baby chicks...I think my husband can read my mind because before I could say anything he said..."No we are NOT taking any home!" LOL
    Great pics!
