Happy Birthday Baby


Dear Rocco,

A year ago today, I held you in my arms for the first time.  Tears streamed down my cheeks & I loved you intensely from the first moment. 
You were so new. 
You were so perfect.
You were so loved.
I couldn't wait to get to know you.




We brought you home & you became an important part of our family.

Now...a year later, we know you. 
We know how to make you laugh. 
We know what you like & don't like. 
We know you like to take walks in the stroller.
We know you love to sing.
We know that you HATE to take naps. 
We know you are a picky eater.
We know you love to play in the dirt. 
We know you love to wrestle with Daddy.
We know you are a good dancer.
We know you are the smiliest baby ever.
We know you, Rocco.
And we love you even more.

    Ahhhhhh! We totally missed the 0,1,2,3,4,5 picture!
    How did he turn one so quick??? It was so exciting listening outside the hospital door listening to you explain to the nurses that his middle name would be Daniel after your dad. What an exciting time! And how he has grown!
    You forgot to mention that he LOVES to compete with Annie and Bo for Isaiah's attention. Your kids make Isaiah feel so loved!

    Happy Birthday to Mr. Rocco!! It's crazy how fast time flies...and now he's WALKING!!
    Geeez, I don't get to come and visit you for a little bit and all kinds of things are happening that I missed!! Your baby is one and walking, your daughter is a celebrity, signing autographs & having tea parties, and your other son is ramming his little brother into trees!! Ha Ha How have I missed so much??
    I will have to catch up with you soon. In the meantime I am off the the store to buy Good Housekeeping!!

    Oh, Happy, happy birthday, Rocco! You're such a cutie. Libbie, guess what? I picked up the June Good Housekeeping mag!! Whoo Hoo! They just now came out. I showed my boss at work and it's proudly displayed on my coffee table with my priceless bracelets!
