We just hot glued some beads onto a babyfood jar.
And wouldn't you know...
not even 2 minutes later...
it had a little tooth in it.
And Annie was filled with pure joy!
She took it to church & to school &
she didn't really want the Tooth Fairy to take her tooth.
But, last night she finally put the tooth under her pillow.
She woke up with glitter in her bed,
and 2 dollars richer. :)
It is going to be a great day!
Does the Tooth Fairy visit you?
Oh my goodness . . . you are one clever mommy. I love the idea of the tooth jar. Guess what? I am a grandmom now!!! Stop by to see some pictures of my new granddaughter.
ReplyDeleteGive Miss Annie a kiss for me. Thanks for sharing such sweet creative posts. I will keep this idea for when my little one needs the tooth fairy.
Hugs and blessings,
Bren
How creative! I love the tooth jar. So pretty and cute. I also love how proud she was to show everyone she lost her tooth.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! And wow, the going rate on a tooth has gone up since I lost mine! By the time Sweet'ums loses hers I'll be in trouble!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your little sweetheart on her lost tooth.
You have a very creative mind. That jar is cute as can be. The tooth fairy visited around here quite often in the past, but not for a long time. As always the pictures you shared are great. Annie is just adorable, even with the missing tooth...couldn't be any cuter. Hugs
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing ever. Seriously. You are such a good mommy. ;0)
ReplyDeleteA TOOTH JAR? Is there anything more adorable then that? And Annie's smile...oh my goodness. She is just so precious. And beautiful. And sweet. And talk about tooth fairy inflation...2 bucks? And paper? Wow! I got a quarter and it went up to a buck in change. But paper money...now that is fancy. And more quiet too. totally caught my mom red handed. But that tooth jar is pure genius!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe your creativity. You know what? You should make some for girls and boys and start your own tooth line on Etsy!!! I mean it, I would've bought one of those!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! (I never got/gave $2, but I didn't have a tooth jar, either.)
How did you get to be so stinkin' creative?!?
ReplyDeleteTerrific idea!! It turned our so darling!!
ReplyDeleteI have a New Giveaway from the French Basketeer I think you will love!

So sweet - great idea with the pretty jar, these little miracles work! What would we do without the tooth-fairy?
ReplyDeleteLibbie!!! You ROCK! What a fun and creative momma you are - making the little things magical...will have to steal this idea one day :)
ReplyDeleteAnnah lost her tooth toooo, same place! :) She hid hers under an unknown, unnamed pillow in the house that she says the Tooth Fairy will know where it is. Its just a loose tooth... if it was in a pretty jar I could probably find it... but no. Actually, I had put it in a little glass cup but then mindlessly washed it down the drain...Paul dug it out. Now its somewhere under one of the zillion pillows in the house.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute idea!! And the glitter is such a great touch!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog the other day! I am going to browse around yours!!
I made a pillow for my son when the tooth fairy comes to visit. Your idea is really cute and my daughter will really love this when she gets old enough to lose her teeth.
ReplyDeleteGENIUS!!! that's what you are Libbie! Max lost 4 teeth over the summer and well, he let them dangle in his mouth too, FOREVER. One morning he came down really early to tell me that the tooth fairy didn't show up. (bad toothfairy) so I sent him to bed and told him we were probably her last stop of the night and he just woke up way too early. Back to bed he went and wouldn't you know it, she eventually showed up. That's the downfall of having children as you lose your memory! LOL!!!! Oh well, I figure I have the older kids to help me remember stuff! HAAAAAAAAAAAA!
ReplyDeleteLater tell Annie this story to let her know how lucky she really is! :) Theresa xoxo
I love it! I have never heard of leaving glitter. What an awesome idea and such a beautiful little girl.
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest tooth fairy jar!! I love how you sprinkled fairy dust on her bed...so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving the jar idea. My son just lost his second (on the bottom too) and he's thrilled each time. SO cute!
