I can't think of much I like more than:
waking up to the sounds of running footsteps &
shouts of, "Snow! Snow!!!"
Since Rocco doesn't really remember
snow I had to bring some inside for him.
He loved it!
Until he touched it.
Then he hated it.
He liked it much more
when Bo would touch it for him.
But as you can see what this might lead up to...
SNOW BALL FIGHT!!!
And since I started it...
I got in trouble!
(My husband thought I was a little nuts)
But we sure had fun running & screaming!!!
I promise I cleaned it all up and then we all went
outside before we got into anymore trouble.
Turns out Rocco still hated it
& screamed the whole time.
He liked it much better from here.
But my favorite part of snow?
Rosie cheeks!!!
Hope you are enjoying the weather where you are!
Snow already~OMG! The pictures are adorable.
ReplyDeleteYour a great mom bringing in that snow for them.
I AM SOOOOOO JEALOUS you have snow! It is 80 here and I am sorry but Autumn and 80 just should NOT be! Your kids just crack me up! And you with an indoor snowball fight...we are kindred spirits my dear. And those rosy cheeks...so sweet. Mine get them too...from heat.
ReplyDeleteWe are at a nice and comfy 77 degrees at this moment. It'll probably be in the 80s by the end of the day. But, truthfully, I'd much prefer to be up there with you! I haven't seen snow since I was 10 and I would love for Sweet'ums and her daddy to see it for the first time!
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures, especially Rocco's reactions!
Precious post, I love that sound too. And the red faces, sigh, must have to wait at least 2 months I'm afraid. Our weather is very stormy and we have had tons of rain already. Please send some snow so we can have some fun outside ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy hugs for a snowy weekend xoxoxo
Very cute!! The last pic is my fav.
ReplyDeleteOh Sweet Libbie...how I have missed you and your little angels!
ReplyDeleteCutest photos and I loved Rocco's reaction and those rosie cheeks are priceless! What a wonderful Mom you are to bring the snow in for them...great memories you're creating for them!
Thanks for stopping by my faithful friend...I adore you!
xoxo

Ah, Libbie, your pictures always bring me smiles and chuckles! Especially that last one! Big grin! Snow already, it's nice here in the 70's, so I can't imagine snow.
ReplyDeleteI can see you now-starting that snow-fight! I just love that about you. Have fun and don't forget the chapstick.
LOVE it Libbie, rosie cheeks, screaming faces & of course the snowballs!!
ReplyDeletewe don't get snow outside our door and I wonder what that would be like for the kids. looks like soo much fun to be had.
enjoy the hot cocoa to keep you warm.
many hugs ♥
I'm enjoying the NO SNOw in Texas :D
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of snow. Mostly because when it does snow it's usually mushy and because Texas goes in to a hault. lol. Today is 57 degrees out side and I'm freezing! I'm praying it doesn't snow lol
I do love your pictures! The power of snow is amazing and it shines through these pictures :D
Nothing is cuter than rosey checks and a red nose.
Raychel
Rosie cheeks are adorable~ but the better part is the hot chocolate :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful my friend. I hope you are doing well. The children are growing so much. I can believe you have snow already. It will be a while before NC gets the white stuff.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Bren
Oh how I wish we had snow here right now. It is in the 70s. 70s in November is an abomination in my book!
ReplyDeleteFor now I will live vicariously through you!
I dare not show my daughter this...she has been wishing for snow for a month now...every morning is on the computer checking on the weather...so far we are suppost to get some wet white slushy stuff on the 20th...but that keeps changing....enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFa la la la la....la la la la!
Oh my dear, you are such a GOOD mom...those babies are going to have the very best memories.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those snappies at the window..."PRE~inside snow ball fight"...giggle...they were just beautiful....and yes those pretty little pink cheeks quite lovely. I'll send over some cookies so you can have them with your hot chocolate.
...wonderful snow ball wishes dear heart....
.................xoxoxxo....Rosie............
Oh my goodness! That last rosy cheeks picture is absolutely adorable. It is obviously warm and toasty inside your home. That's the best feeling. Of course, here, we are warm and toasty during the day. Still in the 80's. I can't even imagine cold and snow. When my 12 year old was in kindergarten, we went to Lebanon during the winter, where there is snow in the mountains. His mittens got wet and his hands started to freeze. We promptly started to leave and he screamed and cried all the way down "I hate snow." I had his hands inside my jacket, trying to warm them up -- you would think he had frostbite the way he was acting. Thankfully, all was well, and 7 years later, he is over the trauma. Ha! Enjoy and have a great week. Tammy
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful little angels and what a snowy day!!Love these sweet captures!!
ReplyDeleteHugs for you
I am so envious! What a special day enjoying the simple pleasures. Can you send some snow our way?
ReplyDeleteJust think, this time next year you'll have a brand new snow baby!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I love snow, even more so now that hubby has gotten rid of his business, which snow used to cause havoc for....I think if it snows this year, I will totally love it. Apart from driving in it, that's horrible.
ReplyDeleteI never realised how much Bo looked like Annie until one of your pics in today's post! So cute!
Hugs xx
Hey! We've got the snow here, too, and have been having fun with it. Well, more precisely, my son has been having fun. I hiked out in it yesterday but have not gotten to go snowshoeing YET. That is on tomorrow morning's agenda. An early morning snowshoe trek through the woods. The dogs will love it. Wait, let me correct myself. One dog will love it, the other spoiled princess will ride in a pouch that I wear under my coat just for her! She peeks her little nose out from time to time but loves to nestle in the warmth. She's only four pounds (Yorkie) so it's not really a burden.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy it now before it melts!
Adorable, adorable pics of your kiddos and the snow!! Loved taking a peek at snow through a child's eyes...it's been a while since I was one. hehe
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Carrie
Great pictures! I hate the cold but love the snow, go figure! I can't wait to get my daughter out in it, once we get some.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following my blog, I'm following you back!
Snow! OMG - yes, for kids it is so much fun! Last year, we had a very cold winter too, so let's see when it gets all white here. And after playing outside: tea and scones - Yay!
ReplyDeleteMy gosh that looks cold! I haven't been in snow since I left NJ when I was a teen! Central Florida doesn't see snow!!! Your pics are great and you have the cutest kiddies! Love those pink cheeks..just to pinch. Have a fun time.
ReplyDeleteSmiles and Blessings,
Nancy
