I am a little worried...I am only 20 weeks
& my stomach is getting HUGE!!!
I can't even see my feet!
My ankles?
So swollen they look alot like hers:
(Life Image)
And all the magazines say my hair should
be thick & lustrious, but really it is breaking off
all over & more white hairs are popping
up everyday!
This is what I look like every morning:
(Bing Images)
But instead of being down about it I am trying to
remain optimistic.
It really is perfect timing.
By my calculations in about a month I
should look EXACTLY like this:
And then who will be the loved one?
Yep...me.
See so it is not all bad.
The only worry is...by April...
I think I will be more like this guy:
(Bing Images)
The only good thing I can think of about that is...
....it will save me $225 because I won't
need to spring for one of these :

Wow - I mean just wow! I'm refering to the table of course. YOU look marvelous!
ReplyDeleteOh, oh, oh. I am climbing back up my chair off the floor with shrieks of laughter...the table did me in. No, Santa did and it was downhill from there. You are so funny and I seriously love you to pieces. Especially since you see your usefulness in your ever growing corpulence of beauty.
ReplyDelete(I have always wanted to use the corpulence in a sentence yet it's meaning is not always meant nicely so I changed it in a nice way so I could use it).
Remember, Lib...you CHOOSE to love me in the full knowledge that I am a geek.
P.S. I have no doubt in my mind that you are adorable pregnant and that belly is probably just perfectly sweet!
Oh My Goodness, Libbie. Laughing out loud. You're awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the belly tomorrow!! :)
You are one funny pregger mama sweetie!!! Heeehehehe!!!! My sweet DIL always blossomed and people thought she was due at 4 1/2-5mo. along.

You are so funny and thanks for the link for the table...but no thanks...ewwwww! LOL
The Sumo Wrestler looks like someone beat his chest with a kitchen spatula...not that I know what that would look like!

Seriously girl..I'm WORRIED, I didn't even know you had a precious one in that belly of yours'..I was so confused when I came here and questioned what you were talking about,,than I'm like..oh my,,she's having a baby!! Yahoooo!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Funny Lady, Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWe live in a tiny house crammed to the rafters, but I think I will have to make room for a sumo wrestler table! I remember 20 weeks preggers with my daughter, your post resonates totally.
Have a lovely weekend.
Carmel

ReplyDeletekisses to you my friend and congratulations!!
Hi Libby, Congratulations!!! Tnanks for stopping by my blog. Don't worry about your son and the not wanting to kiss you thing. My boys still tell me they love me and give kisses at 19 and almost 21. So there is hope it won't end for awhile! Traci
ReplyDeleteThis is so funny! By the way, your belly is adorable! And is that a table, or is my husband looking for something under that couch?
ReplyDeleteI just strongly advise that you don't try sneaking down the chimney to deliver toys... :)
I'm with everyone else... I really needed this today!
Um.....please....and I mean please...do NOT ever buy me that table. Ever.
ReplyDeleteOk, listen up gorgeous. You are half way through with your what, 12th kid, so your buddha belly is right on target. Ok, maybe it's as big as a target but this only means you can sit and drink coffee, then have somewhere to place your coffee cup.
I jest, I jest. Libbie McGillicutty, you are an absolutely beautiful woman, with or without a bulging baby belly. Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have the gift of saying all the wrong things at just the right time. You're welcome.
Oh, I remember Wwwaaayyyy Back, when I was Preggos with My Last (son & 3rd baby) I was not due till the End of November & by July, people were asking if I was due soon.... Loved the post, Hate the Table.... LOL
ReplyDeletebtw, I was looking for yours or Kate's address & can not find it in my emails, could you send me either or both.... zanymaydoriginals@yahoo.com
Thanks Lady ~ Take Care

You silly thing, you! I'm sure you're gorgeous but what's even more important is that gorgeous baby growing within.
ReplyDeleteI'll pass on the table too, just like everyone else (so far!) Wouldn't you be surprised to find it under your tree this Christmas?!
Hugs to you!
You make me laugh my friend....I remember those days...you are beautiful! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteLOL! I know how you feel. I gained so much weight at the beginning of my pregnancy, way more than I probably should have. But luckily, third trimester I barely gained any, I still got bigger but it was all baby! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteOMG, OMG, OMG! I'm so excited for you! And I'm quite sure you look absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLaughing...don't send me that table for Christmas! But your sweet lump is adorable, I don't care what you say!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for you! (My feet were bad, too.)
Hello! Fave! You are fun-ny girl. I could definitely see stopping by your blog for a laugh again soon. :)
ReplyDeleteOH MY WORD....giggle...You Are SOOO funny...I LOVE this post, but most of all, I love you and that sweet sister...give her a BEAR HUG for me.

thanks for the coffee table link...hmmmm...maybe I can get a couple for the shop ;D...I'll save you one...xoxo...Rosie
Oh dear lib you do make me giggle.
ReplyDeleteBut I'll take your big belly and match it.
( sat on the floor to play with river last night and had to wait for hubby to come home cause i couldn't get back up lol)
And I'll swap your swollen ankles and grey hair for itchy scalp, itchy boobs and never ending morning sickness.
It's a good job we can laugh at it all isn't it.
sending BIG (((((((hugs)))))))
You are too funny Lib!
ReplyDeleteMerilee

Haha! Enjoyed the post and yelped with laughter at the table picture. I looked like a beached whale when I was pregnant. I didn't see my feet for months and they are huge! Love your humour. Visiting from the LBS Tea Party
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!! No worries, you will see your feel again in 20 more weeks...just enjoy the ride:)Let people spoil you! Stopping in from LBS tea party. Enjoying your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow... you have a wicked sense of humor... and I love that table!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from LBS!
Well you had me at the elephant, but it got better and better.I even showed hubbie, its soooo funny and i recognize a lot (without being pregnant, but after a delicious dinner).Have a peaceful sundaynight.
ReplyDeleteXX
You are too funny! I like your title, being a "middle" child, but not the "middlest" sister. Visiting form Lady Blogger's Tea Party.
ReplyDeleteThe table is hilarious - how on earth do you find something like that, and there's just no way you could possibly compare! Though I understand completely - Heck. My kids are over the age of 5 and I STILL can't see my feet! Don't despair, though :-) As long as the person doing the pedicure can see your feet, you'll be all right :-)
Oh my - that was a nice chuckle. The thought of that lovely table anywhere makes me cringe and puts a smile on my face at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHolly
Love it!! I feel the same way about my size & hair (it was soo nice with Liam) - not this one :)
