I FINALLY finished my sample of the craft the girls will make at the party...Fairy Glitter Globes! I call them snowglobes but Annie has corrected me...glitter globes they are! I learned a lot making this one. This one still needs a prettier ribbon but I am sooooo glad I tried it ahead of time! Perfect for a garden tea party!
The kids can't keep their hands off it!
Bo has grabbed it & made a run for it quite a few times :)
Salsa Jar (painted lid)
Glitter
Beads
Fairy
Plastic Juice Cap (to raise fairy up)
Hot Glue Gun (to seal jar)
Floral Bond (fasten fairy)
Glycerin (just a few drops)
& a good shake
The kids did love them-will be a lot of fun at your party!
ReplyDeleteThese are so so cute, what fun to make these for a party!

ReplyDeleteAdorable! This is the kind of thing my little girl would have LOVED! Too bad she's 13 now. Sniff. My days of princess and fairy parties are over. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every fairy dust-covered moment, Libbie. ;0) Because just like the floating glitter, one minute they'll be there and the next those moments will be gone. ;0)
