Today we will have my husband's
family over for our Thanksgiving feast.
One treat we will be serving up is Orange Julius,
the color is just perfect for Thanksgiving!
We used to make these when I was a kid but my friend Jenna just reminded me of them when she brought the recipe to our MOPS group.
She said her family calls them
Orange Julia after one of her best friends :)
Orange Julius
6 oz. FROZEN Orange Juice concentrate
1 Cup milk
1 Cup water
1/2 Cup sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla
12 ice cubes
Blend until smooth
Let's see what the judges think:

I remember a store in the mall called Orange Julius...and do you know I never bought one??? the recipe sounds delicious!

I used to make these several years ago. Thanks for the reminder. We have a family brunch, tree cutting, ornament exchange and ornament making party on December 4th. Orange Julius has just been added to our menu.

Thanks for the sweet reminder. A very special friend introduced me to Orange Juliuses and she passed away from cancer a year and half ago. :( I always think of her when I see them.
I'm going to make these for my family soon and we're sure to enjoy them!

Yummy!My husband makes these for me all the time! We actually have an Orange Julius at our local mall. It is combined with Dairy Queen. Yay! Looks like you had a lovely Thanksgiving!
