One special thing my mom did was frame them in fabric from our Christmas dresses or wrapping paper from the times, then she hung them on strips of ribbon.
I was not the cutest baby :)
Notice all the really bad Santas :)
I love this one with my hands STUFFED full of
candycanes & my big sis protecting me from Santa.
I love the ever changing hairdos.
If you look close at the next one my
little sister Rachael's zipper is down :)
The first good Santa
& he won't even let us on his lap.
& he won't even let us on his lap.
When we were teenagers my mom would drop us off at the mall & do a little Christmas shopping while we waited in line to have our picture taken...Oh how we HATED that! to be seen with each other...in line for Santa!!! But now those memories just make us smile...and we can't wait to do it to torture our own kids!
This is our last pic before Kate left for college.
Only fitting we finally discovered who Santa really is :)
My Dad!
Hope you are enjoying some
family time this December!

I love this idea! And I love that look back on it with such sweet fondness. And how bout how it is almost EERIE how much you and Annie look identical when you were young! It is UNCANNY! I think my favorite thing about this is your mom using your dresses or wrapping paper from the times...like when you do your first day of school photo in front of the car to date the photo. So smart and a great way to preserve memories. Seriously Lib, what a heritage and legacy you are creating. Now I am going to go read it again I loved it so much.
Thank you so much for pointing out to the entire world, that my zipper was down! ;)
Such special memories! I love the ever changing hairdo's too and the fact someone had their zipper down. Yup, frozen in time....:)
Too funny looking at those pics again. And you weren't such an ugly baby, you look just like Rocco, and he is adorable. Thanks for your help at midnight last night...
what wonderful and happy family!!! Love these captures!
A lot of kisses to you darling!
So Sweet!!!
These are funny. What fun memories. Bo looks just like you.
I was going to say what Stephanie said! The picture of you with the candy canes looks like it could be Bo! These were so fun to see, thanks for sharing! Oh and I LOVE that your mom framed them in your Christmas outfit fabric, that is just so sweet. Theresa xoxo
I love your pictures! I only had a couple done with Santa and I looked so goofy.
I can't get over how much your kids look like you did when you were little.
You are adorable...love these sweet memories.
Happy weekend and have fun tomorrow. xoxoxo
What sweet memories!!! I have 4 sisters and I am the baby of the family. There were 10 of us in all. Five boys and five girls. My oldest brother and sister could actually old enough to be my parents. Even with all the siblings I still feel like an only child, because of the age difference by the time I was 12 I was alone with aging parents. Sorry this is so long ... I am glad you have happy memories of growing up my friend. You are one of the sweetest women I know. Your little ones are a blessing to me. Just to watch them grow via blogging has blessed me so. Anyway my friend, Merry Christmas. Give those sweet angels a kiss for me.
Merry Christmas,
Bren
So fun, these Santa pix! And i love the framing - that really makes them special. Such a sweet tradition. Hope you have a lovely weekend with your loved ones!
Libbie, made me smile! I love the idea with the fabric.
A couple of years ago I made my parents-in their early eighties take a picture with Santa. A wonderful treasure, too. They protested a bit, but then had wonderful fun. :)
Thanks for sharing the fun memories and pictures, Libbie!
Ha! I was going to leave a comment about how much Annie looks like you as a little girl. Then I read through other peoples' comments and everyone thinks that Rocco and Bo look like you too!
I love this idea. Of course, I vowed to have Santa photos done every year and I already missed last year. Hum...
Thanks for sharing!:)
Thankyou so much for stopping by and becoming a follower, I now am your newest follower, love your blog I hope I can send lots of inspiration your way! Thanks again!
they are great! such a great christmas tradition & I bet the little ones love seeing you guys as kids aswell.
hope the boutique time was fun...wish I was closer!
many hugs to you sweet Ms Libbie ♥
I beg to differ with you, but you were an ADORABLE baby :)
I have one brother. And I think only ONE picture of he and I with Santa.
That may seem sad, however, I understand my immigrant parents, they did not believe in the whole going to visit and take pics with Santa. For them, Christmas was all about Jesus.
I love all these of you and your sisters. Lovely memories.
Priceless and perfect sister blackmail material. Love it!
"In this one Rachael's zipper is down." Was that really necessary to point out? ;)
