Funny Kid 10

This girl has been cracking me up lately.  She has been carrying around an old lap top saying, "I gotta go blog".

And this is a conversation we just had:

"Annie, remind me to pick up hair dye at Target".
"Okay Mom...get hair dye at Target."
"No, remind me when we get there."
"Okay mom.  Remind me to say that again when we get there."
"Nevermind."

She was serious!

The next day...

We were in the car about 1 mile from my parents & she was aching & holding her tummy, "I don't feel good!  I don't feel good!  I have to go to the bathroom!"
Since we were stopped at a red light I tried talking to her to distract her, "Okay honey, we are almost there.  Did you know that when you have to go really bad like that it is called diarrhea?"  (The teacher in me :).
When we got to my parents' I was trying to hurry her inside & when we were waiting for them to answer the door she said, "Mom, I have to go so bad...you know...the FANCY name...diarrhea,"  as she smiled & raised her eyebrows up & down twice, so proud she remembered the fancy name :)  Fancy Nancy's got nothing on us!

Okay - something failed in making my comment and I'm back now - don't see it there. Will I remember what I said? Thank you for your comment on my blog - very funny! And thanks for following. Your curly-headed girl reminds me of a great-niece and your children's conversations of "Tiny Talk" with the aunt of that great-niece. (On my blogroll-Keepin' Up with the Tatums and What's He up To Now will get you there.) I scrolled and read what was available on your blog today. I saw the MN deep freeze. And just pondered being able to skate. On ice. On a frozen canal. The icky-brown-backed photo was a surprise! But I still loved the photo. Who knew boiled eggs could be cute?! Your sense of humor is wonderful - your family lovely - your daughter's compassion and energy incredible - and topping it all off with a peach bow ... just wonderful. I enjoyed my visit. Glad to meet you. Keep your eye on those little ones! You are so blessed w/your family. That IS your sunshine! It's cold here today but very sunny - it's blasting into the room here - I'd take a photo but it's also revealed way more dust than I want to know about and the dog is calm right now - the camera isn't far from him at the moment but he doesn't know it. (He has issues). Thanks! Jenn <><

I love how Ann wants to be so like her mom- from playing "sisters" to blogging. That curly headed girl is so a mini-you.

Why the heck aren't you on my blog roll? I must fix that pronto!

Glad she remembered the fancy name and not just the plain old boring one.
