Sweeter than Popsicles

What could possibly be sweeter than eating popsicles from the ice cream truck with your crazy cousin?

Well...

Knowing my kids are loved by someone else.

Marie from Spun by Me sent my giveaway prize & included something special for each little monster.  All the kids were busy at breakfast with their gifts from Marie.

And for me?  The most enchanting Beatrix Potter Journal...I might share it with Annie...if she's good. :)

Oh yes, Annie & I are going to have fun...but I must confess...I am not letting the boys anywhere near it.

The card Marie sent was so thoughtful & loving and the front of the card read this:

I thought I would throw it onto this Shabby Blogs frame & post it on my sidebar.  What a good reminder!  You might need it too :)

And there is no better way to than this:

Now that...is happily ever after.

Thanks again Marie.
Your friendship means the world to me.

Beatrix Potter is the bomb! (As my kids would say) what fabulous gifts you got. Seeing those popcycles bring back so many memories. I can remember chasing down the truck when I was a little girl and then again for my children! We are never to old for a good old ice cream truck popcycle, are we? Marcia

I love Beatrix Potter :)(she was author of the month in my first grade classroom last month) and that journal...well, if the boys need journals, staple a few notebook pages inside a cover of construction paper and they should be fine! ENJOY! :)
I just bought a box of Red, White, and Blue popsicles myself this afternoon. I like them, and I know my grandkids will LOVE them!
And, who would keep the laughter and goofiness going in our lives if it weren't for our crazy cousins?!?!
Blessings!
