"Fabulous Darling"

Yesterday, Annie got invited over to play by a friend.  Now, this was no ordinary friend...this was a very special friend.  Annie was invited over by Miss Betty.  Betty is a friend from church who has grandkids & even a great grand daughter.  Yet, here she was...lovingly inviting over these girls to play.
When I dropped Annie off at 10 in the morning I asked, "What time should I pick here up?"  Expecting her to say a time very soon I was surprised when she replied, "Around 5:00."

I was even more surprised when I came back & the door opened to reveal these girls peacefully working at the kitchen table & Betty's 8-month-old great grand neice asleep in the other room.
Magic!  I thought Betty must be magic!
The girls were happy to see me come...not because they wanted to leave...oh no....they just were happy for a new customer!  I was invited to shop at thee exclusive BOUTIQUE GABRIELLE.  Actually, I can't really rememebr the name but I am pretty sure that is close :)

These 2 saw me coming a mile away...& they were ready!
I was handed a credit card & a shopping bag.
Annie was a wonderful sales woman, coaxing me to buy her wares.

An ironing board full of earings and and table full of necklaces precious jewels.

When I was finished shopping Ava graciously checked me out.
She waved the CHECKER over my items one at a time.
Then she scanned my credit card...thank goodness I had good credit.
Then we couldn't resist taking a few pictures in all our jewels.

When I asked how I looked Annie threw up her hands & replied, "Fabulous Darling...just fabulous."
"Why, thank you :)"

Before we left, Annie showed me Betty's army of Nesting Dolls she had trusted the girls to play with.
It was a beautiful collection!

This is one playdate these two girls will NEVER forget!
THANK YOU MISS BETTY!!!

What fun they must have had. I love seeing them play using their imagination that seems to be a thing of the past with a lot if not most children of today. The pictures are beautiful as are the girls. Hugs

How sweet for Annie to have Miss Betty as a special friend! When I was little I had a Miss Betty, her name was Mrs. Sandstrom, I don't know how she picked me, but I would go over to her house and have tea with her. It was so special, to leave my house full of chaos and brothers and get treated like a young lady. I loved it and you just brought back a special memory for me...Thank you!
Today is a full day of baseball for us, Max is in a tourney and having a great time. (it started last night) So much fun watching him play and watching Duane and Cameron coach together. Enjoy your Saturday Libbie! Theresa
