Short Chain

Our Christmas chain is getting short.
I am getting scared!

The tree is for Christmas Day
& the star for Christmas Eve.
But that little striped coat is for seeing
Joeseph & the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat
with Annie.
I can hardly wait for her to see it!!!

The only thing that worries me is that
only leaves one little red loop on the chain for
shopping and I really am not even close to done!

Last night Annie was working on
finishing up her Christmas list.
She worked so hard & she can't wait to give
them to her friends!  Afterschool she is going
to wrap them up herself.  I am planning on
her using at least a roll & a half of tape.  It will
take a lot of self control to keep my hands off :)

Are you done or are you getting worried too?

Hi Libbie!! You and Annie are going to have such a great time! I gotta tell you girl, I am right there with you, today is for getting some shopping done, it would be nice to write that today is for getting ALL of the shopping done but I am more realistic than that! How does this happen? Every year I look at November and the first of December like I have all the time in the world, I really wish someone would give me a reality check in November and remind me of who I really AM!!!
I hope you and your sweet family have a beautiful and joyous Christmas, full of all of the laughter that I just know rings out loud in your home!!! Love and Merry, Merry Christmas to you!! Theresa xoxo

I still have to buy some stocking stuffers but our shopping is basically done. Fortunately we probably won't open gifts on Christmas (the Tues or Weds after, most likely) so I've got more time.
I like your Christmas chain. What all sorts of stuff did you put on it, and how many days did it cover?

Look at the look on her face while making these cute gifts.Lovely.
Me, i am worried like crazy.19 family members coming for Christmas and still have not decided about what to do for a starter.Still busy thinking about what to do with the tablesetting....But as every year everything will be alright as it is as long as we are all together.

You tell your sweet lil girl that her gifts are AMAZING. Her friends will love them and they are lucky to have a girl like her to be their friend! Merry Christmas to you! Everything will get done-don't worry about it. It somehow always falls together.

Love the christmas chain - have never seen one before - such a nice custom! Oh, i have a slight stomach ache. There is so much chaos here because of the snow, and we shall travel to Austria on Saturday. Hope all works out! Hugs to you for 3 more fun days!

Oh I love those sweet little Annie gifts. Her friends will be so pleased.

Enjoy your Joseph & the Amazing
Technicolor Dreamcoat show.

My shopping is done, it's the wrapping I'm worried about. You may have to pull an all nighter, but you'll get done.

Howdy Sweetie
A wish to you and all yours for a very Merry Christmas :)
I myself have not even begun to shop ,so not like me but it has been a strange year for our family.
However as in years past miracles always seem to happen at the last minute and all works out so I am still not in panic mode that may change in the morning :)
I just want to thank you for sharing your fabulous adventures with us this past year.
I just finished reading some of your older posts and they blessed me beyond words with all the memories they bring back for me . Parenting is not for the faint of heart :)
Blessings of love, joy, peace, and good health to you and yours in the coming New Year.
Big Hugs from me to you
Until next time
Happy Trails

Merry Christmas Libbie! I love the photo of Annie working so intently on her gifts. What a wonderful thing for her to do. And they are so cute, what a good job she's doing!

Kate just told me about your in-law's and I was so sad to hear about the fire. I'm praying for God's calming and loving hand in each of your lives. God bless you all.

Love...Tracy :)
