Green

After our Blue week,
The next week was GREEN for sure!

Rocco's blue cast turned green
when we had to go in for a new one because he
fell in our little garden pond.
If you knew how hard I tried to
protect that thing from getting wet!
How many times I yelled,
"ROCCOOOOOOO!
Get away from that pond!"

You should have seen how happy Bo was when I told them they cut the old one off with a saw.  Of course, he had to come along to watch, they both loved it way too much.

We also had Annie's Academic Fair.
Her class was a pioneer village.

More green :)

(And too much orange)

Which, of course, she insisted on
wearing out to dinner before the event.

But my favorite part of her project
was the little mouse hole
that she thought of herself :)

And last was lunch.
Our Green lunch.

We replanted centerpieces from our
Spring Party into a big pot to keep on our deck.

Bo loved picking his own lunch.
Although next time he can pick it outside!
(It was raining :)

Green is good :)

Did your week have a color?
I loved reading your colors last time!

Too bad about the "pond incident", but I guess those things must happen just to keep life very interesting :)

No colors to my week but I love your green one! Annie's so cute and I love that cast. :) I spent some time in one myself when I was a little younger than he is. You've really got the best kids!

my week hasn't been too colourful but I had to pop by here and say hello as I have missed your news.
good to see everyone is ok..despite the blue cast!

Big hugs lovely Libbie ♥

Green looks good on your kids. Poor Rocco... the worst part of kids getting sick is the waiting of them getting better when they can't do certain things. Hope this cast stays dry and he will be 100% soon.

Honey how you manage to sit down for five minutes is beyond me. hahaha
I am sorry but when you mentioned the boys enjoyed watching the removal of the old cast to the new one far to much made me think OH NO they won't mind getting more of these.
Great pics of Annie too. I love her in that outfit. Way too cute.
I think the my color so far this week is red because I got on the ole tractor yesterday and it broke again after an hour. So I am seeing red. hahaha
Miss you Sweet Libbie. Oh how I adore coming by here and seeing your babies. Just wish you lived next to me then I would see pastels the rest of my life.
Love ya
Maggie

I was just thinking about you! Rocco looks pretty cool in that green cast. And I just love Annie's pioneer look. There is never a dull moment at your house and I love hearing all about it!

How fun!!! I agree ... Green is good. I love the new green cast. I also adore the mouse hole (I have a weakness for mice) and I love the big orange hair. Our color last week was orange, orange, orange. We've been playing with new orange umbrellas from Ikea.
Thank you for sharing these adorable pictures of your adorable children!
Sending love to you all,
~Diana

Green is my favorite color!

I love visiting you Libbie...you remind of me when I was a young mom. One day at a time...taking them as they come...and loving every minute of it!

Have a special day!

Boys will be boys! Annie's Pioneer display is adorable, but that hair is definitely from the wild, wild west. HA! :) Hope all is well. Have a great week. Tammy P.S. Our days have been mostly dull and dusty but thankfully blue skies have returned (for now)

With girls it's always PINKALICIOUS (just like the book:0) at our house! Maybe some day we will have to have a blue or green day for my husband...maybe fathers day:0)

Have a fabulous day!

Great job on your project Annie! You look like a true pioneer! Now that the boys know that a saw will be involved you will have to keep them under lock and key or they will go back every day for more "new cast fun"!! t.xoxooxo
