Olympic Party ~ London

The Flag was waving and the rings were in place...

...Let the Games Begin!

The fun started when the athletes rolled in
on the doubled decker bus.

(Pictured below Team USA & Team France)

We enjoyed an English dinner of
fish & chips and fresh scones.

It was very exciting when the torch came by:

The last hand-off was the trickiest.
More like a snatch.

Then we all enjoyed watching the festivities in London.

I was just glad Rowan Atikinson got my text:

(The Mirror)

I needed to let him know about his little booger.

(Sorry only funny if you actually watched the Opening Ceremonies & even then...maybe not :)

and for the next few weeks....
...we will be watching wayyy too much T.V.,

and training for 2020 of course!

Happy Olympics!

Great journalistic coverage! Too fun. Even though I was there imseemed to have missed some of the events. Do you think NBC will want to cover us in 4 years?? But am wondering if you missed Big Ben.

We had an Olympic event as well....but no where near as fun as your party. I can't believe we didn't have a torch at our party...looks like that was a highlight at yours.

P.S. We did watch the opening ceremonies and yes, it was funny!!

The double decker bus is awesome and so is the torch. I love how you had them run it down the street. Too fun. We watched the opening ceremonies too, but the boys had no interest in it, really. Hope your summer is going well and everyone is happy and healthy.
