Shoe Shopping

When I took Bo shoe shopping I immediately wanted these shoes:
Clean, sensible shoes.

Bo however fell IN LOVE with these shoes:
They are called POLICE shoes.  They even light up all over.

He had them on very fast and he smiled so big & said, in his sweetest voice, "Pleeeeeease mom?  Pleeease?"

Instantly I wanted to say no, but then I looked at his old white sneakers that were all dirty & had been since the second time he had worn them, then I looked out the window at the Minnesota gray slush & I said, "Okay".

Yes, I had to make siren sounds all the way home...but you wouldn't believe how many bad guys he has caught!

Oh Libbie
Your such a good mom!! How do you make the siren sound? Is it a Weeeeeeeeooohh ....Weeeeeeeeeoooh? or a Oouuuwe...Oouuuwee sound? You'll have to tell me??????HeHe
Did Bo sleep in his sneakers that night?
My husband always tells me about the shoes he got when he was little. He had to sleep in them when he first got them. It kind of reminds me of Bo's reaction to the shoes. I hope he hasn't given out any speeding tickets to you, they can cost a lot!
I'm so glad to see that Maggie did a post on Annie. She is becoming quite the little celebrity!! Can I buy some of her bracelets? Let me know what your sales procedure is, OK?
Thanks!

Too cute, Libbie. That is so boy!! And you are so wise to go with the NON-white shoes. I can't keep those clean and we live in Florida!! ;0)

WOW! You will like come to enjoy the black shoes. I remember trying to keep my boys shoes white...what an impossible challenge.

I love those shoes! My son would have pleaded with me, too. (The lights might get old, tho'...snicker) Besides, he'll soon grow and need a bigger shoe. Too funny, Libbie.

Dang, lights and cool words on them mom! you are such a good mom.... I bet he is pretty proud of those new shoes as opposed to hiding the white ones under the slush!

Well ya know a law-enforcement officer has to have the right tools to catch those bad guys! Imagine how many of them would still be 'on the loose' if Bo didn't have these shoes?
