Water

I have been trying soooooo hard to drink my water, 8 cups a day.

One way I love to drink is in the UNSWEETENED waters that are out there these days.
The first sip is TERRIBLE out of every bottle.  But then you start to get used to the no sugar & now...I crave it!

But I do hate to pay $1.00 PER water, that is what they charge for these.  And I hate to use so many plastic bottles!  So I came up with my own.

I actually wash the bottles in the top rack of my dishwasher, refill them, and then comes the secret ingredient:

Baking flavors!
I just add 2 or 3 drops, shake the bottle up & throw it in the fridge.

My favorite flavor right now is Orange.
I also like
Mint & Coconut.

Now I do have to warn you, I don't think it is for everyone...but when I am sick of water & still need to get a little more in, this is the way I like to drink it.  And remember the first sip is ALWAYS TERRIBLE.  But by sip 3, you might be hooked :)  Let me know if you try it!

I gotta try this, I try not to buy the waters with aspertame in them and this might be a good solution, I really need to drink more water. Thanks, Theresa

To drink water is healthy. The problem with this is that not everyone eliminates the proper quantity and so it gets stocked up in the body causing oedema.

Now in Slumdog Millionaire the kids were filling old water bottles (like this) and using superglue to reglue them shut. THe water faucet was old and rusty and they then sold them as new bottles Then you'd even have the CRACK when it opens!!!!

Can harldly wait to come to your house next time!! =-D

It is hard to train yourself to drink water...I grew up drinking a lot of sweet tea and soda and now as an adult it has been a hard habit to break. I know drinking from a brita water filter helped me as well as ice! I love lots and lots of ice! Have a great weekend.

Is that what is in those flavored waters? I love to drink sparkling waters... Pellegrino, Perrier & Club Soda with lime.

Your doing a post about one of my major problems drinking water. I have good intentions and it seems they never last very long.
I might have to try this and see what your talking about. lol
Have a good weekend

Hmmmm, good idea. But I think I'll stick to my unsweetened iced tea and coffee. (I drink water all the time-can add lemon, or toss in some frozen fruit as ice cubes, too. :)

I used to drink lots of water. Now I make a big pot of green tea and drink it through the day; hot, warm or cold; hits the spot for me.

Great idea! All I drink is water (and carrot juice and smoothies), so a little variety would be nice.

Thanks for sharing the tip! ;0)

i guess "fake sugar" in it defeats the whole purpose, huh? lol.

Seltzer water's not bad. If you think "Ginger Ale, Ginger Ale" it KIND OF tastes like it...

Oh, the things we do to drink more water!

What a great idea. I sometimes squeeze a lemon or a lime in my water. It makes it so much better. Especially if I am really not very thirsty. I just can't make myself drink that much water.
