Ooooey Goooey

Today my sisters & their kiddos came over (10 kids between us) &  we had the kids make popcorn balls.

I won't got a bit crazy, A LOT MESSY, & there were some screaming babies but they turned out oh so good!!!
For fun we hid snakes & spiders inside.

Bo put a big snake in his.

Annie put a skeleton in hers & left the creepy hand hanging out.

My neice Zadie had her own creative
style jamming them full of goodies!

And the fussy babies just snacked.
But as you can see Calvin is very talented & can eat no handed.

We made 3 flavors & you can find
the colored ball recipie HERE
& the white ones HERE.
The verdict is still out on the best flavor.
I fully expected to like the white ones
but was crazy about the orange.
My lil' sis liked the white &
My big sis voted grape.
Let me know what you decide!

Kate's Nature Girl made this one for you!
Let me know if you whip some up!

P.S.  Can you tell I am oh so pregnant?  My last few post have been all about treats!!!  I gotta work on this :)

Hi Libbie~aka the baby goddess! That looks like so much fun! I love it when my family gets together, my sister Molly and I usually try to get a Christmas make it take it day going for all of the nieces and their moms. Sometimes it ends up being just us and our girls and that's o.k. too, then when our girls tire of crafting they will head into the kitchen and bake cookies (her daughter is quite the chef) and Molly and I sit at the table and create and laugh and eat chocolate! There must always be chocolate involved when we craft together... maybe I need to get one of those little sticks that turn blue to make sure we aren't preggo too!LOL!!! Hope your feeling fabulous! Theresa xoxo

Will you adopt me? You seem like the most fun mom ever! Don't feel bad about the treat posts--if I posted every time I baked something that's all my blog would be! I just don't have creative ideas like yours.
Have you chosen pumpkins yet? That's our project for the week--we got our pumpkins yesterday and Sweet'ums will paint hers when she comes home. I bet your kids could make great pumpkins!

Such a timely post. My son was just commenting on wanting to make popcorn balls and now, thanks to you, I've got a great recipe. Thank you!

It looks like you all had a very fun day. I love family gatherings like that. We just did something similar today with a big soup and pumpkin carving party. I'm blogging about it right now (waiting for the photos to s-l-o-w-l-y load.)

I've been baking up a storm myself lately but sadly I do not have pregnancy as a reason, just craving sweets!
