We are so tired of being cooped up from the long winter that even the rain doesn't scoot us inside.
A day like today was perfect for catching raindrops,

And rainy days are perfect for projects!
This summer we are headed on a trip to the Gulf of Mexico & we are sooooooo excited!
So...today we made a chain to count down the days until we leave.
Annie & I had fun looking through my old scrapbook stuff
Then we just slapped them on our ocean chain.
I must admit this is my favorite link:
The kids are already fighting over who gets
to tear off the shark link but I don't care...
I Just want to enjoy every minute of anticipation
before we start our 24 hour ride south to heaven.
I think the anticipation is just as fun as the travels.

I know what you mean. This winter/cold spring/whatever they are calling it is taking forever. Where is the warm sun shiny weather? A trip to the ocean always sounds like fun. Hope the trip goes well.
We are planning on going somewhere this summer, but can't figure out where. We were thinking about Michigan, to visit family, but there are other options we are exploring too. Have a great weekend!

Sounds awesome!! We may do a few trips to see family, but with the long drives, I'm not anticipating a relaxed 15 month old!

I've seen those chains made for countdown but I must say yours is definitely adorable. I hope it is the perfect trip from start to finish.
