Perfect Touch

I found this cute little touch on Dawn's blog last The Feathered Nest.  You really should go look at Dawn's!  They are gorgeous!

The first step is to send your child out into the blizzard with a scissors.

Annie made one too ( a little bit of a hack job on the greens, but hey, she is only 5 :).

Annie's

I was going to make one for each cupboard but after making two I counted...I have 20 upper cupboards!  So that plan changed quickly & we only made four :)

But aren't they just the perfect touch!
Thanks Dawn for the idea!

LOL!
Libbie,
What a cute and really simple idea that almost anyone can implement!! On top of everything else, you are giving a happy memory to your children and making them feel important because they have contributed.
Warmly,
Tracey

How sweet are they. I'm laughing at the fact that you sent poor annie out into the blizzard. I had visions of me literally shoving river out of the door, he hate's bad weather lol.
Love the kitchen by the way, we replaced ours back at easter but it's tiny compared to how your look's.

Libby, those are nice! If only we had firs here. Wonder how a palm frond would work? :P

OMG! So adorable, what a great idea. I guess I could use some juniper, maybe. Evergreen isn't very prevelant in south florida.

I also love the presents above the cabinets, what a great idea!

Great idea! I love how kids can make them. And it's an opportunity to toughen them up, too.
