What are you serving the Reindeer?

My mom took some of the grandkids (don't worry, not Bo)  to a Santa Breakfast.  They came home with very full goody bags but their favorite thing was a sack of reindeer food!  They made it themselves, Annie was very proud.

Here is an up close look:

There was some straw, bird seed, rabbit pellets & the best ingredient of all was Christmas cookie sprinkles!  Wouldn't your kids have a fun time whipping up a batch of this for Santa's reindeer?  Just look in your pantry & I bet you have just what you need:  oatmeal, granola, raisins, dried fruit, even pick a little grass!  Just don't forget the Christmas Cookie Sprinkles!
You could even give them a recipe to follow!
Here are the directions you might need for Christmas Eve:

Thanks Nanna for the fun day!

Little Fireman had a blast. He loved talking to Albert, the elf. Tried to persuade Albert to come and live with us... Bummer that it didn't work, I need some help cooking and cleaning!

Santa sends us reindeer food to sprinkle on our lawn. The kids get excited when it comes in the mail.

Hi hunni
Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment.
No we have never ventured as far out as the U.S. we are self employed with no employe's so taking a holiday means shutting up shop and no money coming in so we generally just take 3/4 day's at a time. beacuse were only about a two or three hour flight to anywhere in europe it's so convenient for a short break.

Everyone thinks that river's so very cute and sweet and yes he is at time's but he also has a very hyper side. Three day's a week river goes to pre school and three day's a week river's mummy get's called into the office because he's done something bad lol.
I cling tightly to the phrase " he'll grow out of it" lol
