Colorful Giveaway

My daughter must have gotten her love for a
POP OF COLOR from me :)

On Sunday, before church, I sent her to her room for a time out.  When I had her come down she came down like this:

I just stared at her with a straight face (VERY HARD TO DO) & she goes, "What?"
When I just kept staring, eyebrows raised, without smiling she couldn't resist a smile of her own & asked, "Can I go to church like this?"
Keeping my straight face I just said, "Just this once."  & I had to turn & walk away because it really was too funny.  Then later, of course, I had to take a few pics.

Well... Annie's & my LOVE OF COLOR will translate into a giveaway for you!

This summer I have picked up some colorful things & I bought a few extras for one of you!  I am in LOVE with the new LIBERTY OF LONDON's designs all over Target & I have been a madwomen  writing in this cute little mini journal set:

First, just to thank my followers & faithful friends I thought it would be fun to randomly pick a commenter on my last post HOT CHICKS & send them a set of these mini journals.   Karen of
Karen R. Evans was the lucky winner who didn't even know that she was entering a giveaway :)  Karen has become a dear friend & I love visiting her blog too!  Hi Karen!

So on to the REAL Giveaway...

...I also am crazy about these happy bowls from Target.

Seriously...how cute would you be taking watermelon balls to a picnic in one of these?  Yeah...you'd be cute :)

So the winner of this Giveaway will receive a set of bowls AND the journal set.

2 chances to enter:

1) Just leave a comment & please make sure it links back to you somehow.

2)  Please just let me know if you are a follower in your entry for another chance.

That's it!  I will pick a winner Sunday & get it up Sunday night.

Good Luck Girls!

Libbie, I'm sitting here just'a smilin'. Thanks so much. You know, at the writers conference in a class for fiction, they suggested to have your main characters write a journal-to really get to know them. Wow, is that a push to get me going? (only have the first draft written.)Do you need my email?

So thank you so much dear friend! And that eyeshadow! You know, she put it on better than I can. snicker.....

Obviously she is an optimist. She gets sent for time out and makes the most of it! Adorable!!!!!

I don't know if I would have been able to keep a straight face if my daughter did that! And what a sweet mother you are to let her keep her make-up on for church.

Libbie, this is such a lovely give away but please don't worry about entering me...the postage would be prohibitively expensive!

Best wishes,

I've been a follower and have so enjoyed visiting your blog:-) What a funny story about your daughter. So glad you allowed her to go to church like that -- she'll remember what a cool mom you were, no doubt! (Okay, in about 20 years, but hey, it will be worth waiting for:-)

Hey Libbie,
Where does time go? I can't believe I missed so many of your posts! I thought I was only away from commenting on all your blogs for a few days and it seems so much has happened. First of all GOOD HOUSEKEEPING!!! Holy smokes, that's amazing!! You've got to be so proud, and I'm sure you and the whole family are. I know I am and I'm not even her mom!!! HaHa Wow, I'm talking to celebrities now!!! Will you have time for me after July?? You know the papparazzi are going to be after you.... HaHa again!!

I just love the Easter photos of your kids, they are just so precious. Just when you thought the last batch of pictures were the cutest, you come out with even cuter ones!! Oh yeah, the chicks are pretty cute too, BTW!!

Keep capturing all those cute Kodak moments, I can't wait to see what's next. Well, I'm off to visit your Sista!!
I hope you have a great weekend.
