Me Time

I have been offline for a couple of
weeks for a little me time :)
A little self improvment.
In a conversations with I LOVE MY HOUSE she sweetly reminded me to put myself back on the list when the baby comes & I thought...well why not now!

This is my life's verse:

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.  Later on, however, it produces a harvest of peace and righteousness for those who have been trained by it.          Hebrews 12:11

It has helped me a lot in my life
but right now I am trying to apply it to:

My family's eating,
(especially my own)

My daily time in the word,
and actually every single area of my life.
So that makes for a busy mom!

That is what has been keeping me away.

But now I have some new routines &
habits in my life & I am ready to get back to you!

Last weekend my kids were gone so
I had my niece over for her
birthday to make some candles.
and look what she did to torture me!
Even though she wore such colorful socks,
 I let her stay :)

And we whipped up some new flavors!

(smells like lemon & cilantro)

(smells like green Polo...didn't we all buy our
 boyfriends green Polo cologne?)

and the ultimate dude candle:
I am still addicted to making candles.
If you want some fun housewarming presents
I would reccommend trying it!

I get most of my supplies from:
& if you have any questions ask away!

I know I am getting long winded BUT
it has been way too long overdue...

I won an amazing giveaway before Christmas from:
Her "Pink Christmas" Giveaway
featuring
KARA ROSENBERRY's stationary!

Just look at all the goodies I recieved!

& even these cute stir sticks!
Oh to be as talented as Kara!!!
They are inspiring me to write notes to
people who might need some encouragment,
some warm wishes!

Thanks so much to Kara & Koralee!!!

You deserve every bit of me time. And of course I missed you. And lib...your candles. They are amazing! I feel like i can smell them from here. I am ordering one creamsicle please! And I would wear those socks in a second! My girls too! the funkier the better. But alas...we are a flip flop family here in Sunny FL. But all kidding aside...your post encouraged me a lot. Especially about getting in the word! Love you for just being you!

Love that verse too! I need to remind myself of it, thank you! You so deserve some me time, and I know that it isn't easy fitting everything in, but you my friend are an inspiration to us all! You candles are so pottery barn fantastic! I love the packaging and just know that the scents are just as gorgeous... and yes we did all buy the green polo for our guys... and I bet that one is amazing! (but would it make me wanna tease my hair big and buy shoulder pads for all of my clothes? HAAAA I hope you are feeling well!
Theresa xoxo
p.s. I am wearing striped socks as I write this! HAAAA

Libbie honey I wonder a lot if you get any ME time and that is so why I wished I lived near you and Kate so I could give each of you a day for yourselves.
I am glad you realize that you need this and are trying to squeeze some time in for you.
Your candles amaze me. They look so creamy soft...not like a candle looks I love them.
This morning I thought of all of you getting ready for church and stopping by for your hot chocolates and coffee. lol
Love ya
Maggie
Oh we got a small taste of your weather this past week. It got as low as 14 here and I thought I was not going to make it. hahaha Even snowed but you girls up there would call it a sprinkle
