Got Glitter?

When I say I've been busy it is not the busy you think.
It is the:
"RIGHT NOW I am putting up a post,
nursing a babe,
playing baseball with Rocco (my turn to bat),
yelling 'Bo!  Don't flood the bathroom again!' "
busy.

No man could do this  :)

When the boys nap I like to spend some girl time with Annie.  Today, we did one of my old favorites...glitterize!

All that glitter makes me smile :)

What made YOU smile today?

Adorable bracelet from Cheryl
Thanks again!

I met my newest grandbaby - Caleb! That really made me smile!

Love the glitter queen - she looks good!

You, Libbie, are the definition of a "multi-tasker"!

I think this post made me smile! I must do this with my Cati! My Ella would want me to glitterize her buzz lightyear of a truck or something. She is so much like me at her age it is scary. But I need to glitterize with Cati during Ella's naps! Love it! Oh I know what made me smile. In the middle of Target Cati melted down and screamed her skin was coming off between her toes...I think her flip flops are on their last leg. And on the way home she informed me she may need to go to the hospital. I assured her that was only for more serious cases and a band aid will be perfect. She then said, "Oh yeah. Like if someone lost ALL their skin or if they got dead. Theeeeen we would go to the hospital. See? That christian school and homeschooling combo makes for one astute kid. I smiled on the inside with that one but I loved it!

Lovin all the glitter! Tell Annie she looks SPECTACULAR! Hannah has started painting her fingernails all one color and then she makes the tiniest pictures using nailpolish and toothpicks. She just did this on Sunday before she left to go to FLA. with her best friend for 4 days. (just so you know, I have been missing her since Sun.) Anyway... she made a tiny flamingo, seagulls flying, palm tree, dolphin, etc. every nail had a different picture on it. They looked so cute when she was finished! That made me smile.
Cam, Max and I are holding down the fort and having some good bonding time. We have watched Mulan together with popcorn and then last night Max had a friend spend the night so Cam and I watched Sherlock Holmes~just.me.and.Cam. that never happens! That definitely made me smile!
By the way (as I fill up a whole page) you are so right in your statement about men... they could NEVER do all those things at once! But if Duane wanted to try, I would let him!

That glitter made me smile - Annie is just too precious for words. :)
I had a former 4th grade student call me this evening and chatter like a magpie. That made me smile for sure. :)

I've always known it but this post and the comments confirm that you guys are better moms than me...

"Hi, my name is Jodie and I

(pause)

hate glitter!"

I want to love it, I do. It's so sparkly and fun and pretty, but I can't. It's so sneaky how it hangs around and won't leave. My girls would play with it and come up with some groovy creation and I'd find glitter everywhere for the next two weeks!

I love that you love it though and think Annie looks divine.

:)

Sparkle on!
