Funny Kid 4

At the Target today Annie was looking at the Christmas trees & I was turned with my back to her as I looked at the ornaments, "Look at this one mom.  Isn't it beautiful?"  After about the 3rd one I stopped turing to look & just started saying "Uh-huh."
"Mom, can you even believe I am strong enough to shake this WHOLE tree?"  I turned around REALLY fast!  Sure enough...she was!

This comes one day after she broke a big glass ornament at Michael's, after I had told her to stop touching them 4 times.  How do I know it was 4 times?  Because when I asked her, "How many times did I tell you not to touch them?"  She said, "Four."

In case you are wondering...they don't make you pay for the things your kids break at Michael's.  And at Target when your kids break snow-filled water globes...they don't make you pay for those either.

Gotta love those precocious little girls! Just so you know . . . they grow up to be beautiful (inside and out), strong, independent women:-) (Mine is now 24:-)

Sounds like you have your hands full:-)

Your story is so cute. I do see my daughters often. My middlest daughter has 4, count them, 4 BOYS. She is now a stay at home mother but was in nursing and worked in a burn center before having the last two boys. My youngest has 2 daughters works for a christian book publisher. My oldest is an illustrator waiting for that big break in life.

Better Annie than Bo! He'd have shaken that tree to pieces if he got the idea-& if it was the whole tree, I think they might have made you pay for it ;)

Hiya
I'm sooo glad I'm not the only one that has to walk around the shops repeating " don't touch that" and "put that down" lol.
Thank you so much for popping by and for your very kind comments on my blog It really made my day.

For some reason it is human nature for kids to touch everything, but why haven't stores figured out to put everything behind big thick plastic casings? HMMM Luckily they didn't make you pay, and in turn you make little miss touchy feely pay for it:) jk! I remember when Chucky stold a pack of gum(he was to little to know)*REALLY* I was so afraid of what the store people would think when I brought my 2 year old in to return the gum, they were probably thinking that I was a crappy parent and that he would be in prison by 5, luckily it never happened again:)

I just absolutely love how your bio reads. It truly sounds like the intro into a great book. I'm looking forward to reading all about you and sharing lives. I don't blog as much as I use to do to the fact that my job is taking over my life. But with Prayer, I'm working on that. (smile)

Love, peace and blessings!
PS what a great thing to say about your husband. Hope to find that one day!

LOL This is where I mention that I'm glad my heartbeat is 15 now - he's so busy with his "teen angst" there is no WAY he could POSSIBLY take time to shake something up. LOL

You know I'm going to start laughing in the Christmas aisles at Target now...
LOLOL

Thank You for coming to visit me!!!

The funniest part is that that came just a day after the Michael's incident. And sorry for bailing on you when I heard the shattering glass. I thought, I am going to let her handle this one. I had just taken an ornament out of her hands, don't know how she got another one so fast. And I totally know how hard she can shake a tree. I need her on my team!!!

It will eventually have an impact on them. I was standing in the toy aisle at Target. All of the sudden I heard "Peter! Put that down!" Whoosh the toy returned to the shelf. Next to me was a 3 foot something crumb cruncher doing the same thing. Turns out his name was also Peter. I looked at his mom and said "somethings become really ingrained". Thanks for the nice story, Libbie
